What this is, and what it isn't.

A personal project

LUCY is one person's assistant, built for himself and running on his own servers. This site is where she introduces herself. It is not a product, there is nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for and no service being promised to anybody.

The preview

The chat bar is a small, free preview of her. It may be slow, it may be wrong, it may be switched off without notice, and it will certainly run out of its daily allowance from time to time. Nothing it says is advice — not medical, legal, financial or otherwise — and nothing it says should be relied on. It is a demonstration of how she talks, not a source of facts.

Please use it as it was meant: ask her something, see how she answers. Not for automated traffic, not for scraping, not for trying to get at the system behind it, and not for anything illegal or abusive. Access can be rate-limited or refused at any time, and the preview can be closed for good just as easily.

What she writes

Her answers are generated by a language model. They are yours to do what you like with, and nobody claims ownership of them — but they also come with no guarantee of being correct, original or suitable for anything in particular. The rest of the site — the words, the design and her portrait — belongs to its author, so please ask before reusing it.

No warranty

The site and the preview are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. They may be unavailable, they may lose what you typed, and using them is at your own risk. Liability is limited to what the law does not allow to be excluded.
